Francesca Sofia Mercado was born on a rainy Thursday on October 17, 2024 at 11:21 a.m. to parents Sofia and Edward Mercado at Lone Peak Hospital in Draper, Utah. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Francesca was born peacefully sleeping and spent 3 days in the arms of her family who experienced her powerful and radiant presence. During this time she loved cuddling, singing lullabies, reading bedtime stories, and being told countless times how much she was loved by her family.

Francesca is deeply loved by her mother and father, puppy, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and great grandparents. Francesca will be remembered in their hearts and is waiting to be held once again in the next life. She is the greatest treasure to her parents and will always be their perfect little angel that only knew love.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123 with a visitation from 1:00-1:45 p.m.
