Frances “Keka” C. Godines

Frances “Keka” C. Godines was born on November 8, 1945 in Oak Creek, Colorado to Isabel C. Godines and Louis Godines. She passed away peacefully on October 23, 2019 at the age of 73. She moved to Price, UT as a young girl with her family and lived in Utah since. Keka lived with her mom for many years and then moved to Taylorsville, UT with her sister, Mercy, and brother-in-law, Ben, who helped take care of her. Keka had a love for her nieces and nephews and loved to tell stories of her childhood to them.
Keka is survived by her sisters: Julie (Mercado), Patricia (Vigil), Jennie (Garcia), Dorothy (Hernandez), Mercy (Williams), Kathy (Nicholas), MaryJane (Godines) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Isabel, and brother, Victor Zavala. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Services will be held on Friday November 1, 2019 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery at 6500 South Redwood Road. Starting with the viewing at 10AM with graveside services to follow.
