Frances Bay Melton

Frances Bay Melton passed away on November 12, 2022 in Midvale, Utah. She was born May 20, 1943 in Panguitch, Utah to Elmo and Phyllis Bay. She married Arthur Richard Melton on August 19.
Frances graduated from BYU and went on to teach elementary school for 30 plus years. She loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She also had a great love for theatre.
Frances is survived by her son, David Bay (Jessica) Melton; her daughter, Amy Elizabeth Melton; granddaughters, Alyssa Brown, Ashley Melton, Abbigail Melton, Alex Melton and Makayla Melton; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Bay Scribner and a sister, Claudia Archuleta (Marcelino). She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Richard Melton and her parents, Elmo and Phyllis Bay.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 19, 2022 1:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 6695 South 2200 West, West Jordan, Utah 84084. A viewing will begin at 12:30 pm at the same location.
Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
