Florence Alberta Higham Lindhardt passed away peacefully on April 12th, 2019. She was born on May 30th, 1923 in Centerfield, Utah to Florence Childs Higham and Albert E Higham. She married Reynold Leland Lindhardt on December, 20th 1945.
In her younger years Florence loved the outdoors; she enjoyed camping and boating with her family and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was being a member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club in Salt Lake City, and enjoyed riding her horse, “King Buff”, in all the local parades. She loved knitting and crocheting afghans for her family. Florence spent many years employed at Lavoy’s clothing, and even spent time making parachutes during WWII.
If you knew Grandma well, you know that one of her favorite sayings was “Oh my Hell”, used in both good and bad scenarios. She always made people laugh because of her tone when saying it.
You will be missed tremendously but we know you are not in pain anymore. Fly high with the Angels, Grandma, until we meet again.
Florence is survived Tom R Lindhardt, Mark A Lindhardt (Karen), and Lee Lindhardt, as well as 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Florence is preceded in death by her husband Reynold Lindhardt and her daughter Linda Jean Anderson.
