Floidella Corley

January 15, 1947 — February 18, 2016

Salt Lake City, Utah – On February 18, 2016, we lost our beloved wife, mother, grandma, and friend who has now returned to the arms of her mother and father after a long hard battle with cancer. Even on her worst days she greeted you with a laugh and a smile. Her joy in life was her kids, grandkids, and her 17 year career with the SLC school district. She brought love and enjoyment to so many students and teachers. Every time you would visit, she would have students in her office working with her. She mentored and befriended many people, and was loved dearly. She loved going out to eat with her family on Friday nights. She loved camping, and every summer she would spend weeks at camper world with family. She loved the sound of rain and thunder, anything she didn’t have to go out in. She was very active in the LDS Church and was sealed to her husband Raymond Corley Jr. She is survived by her husband Raymond, her children Rajena (Dale) Wanner, Kerry (MariAnn) Corley, Radell Corley, Joy Corley, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
