Fern Michael

Fern O. Michael died July 27, 2015 in Salt Lake City, UT. Born October 12, 1922, Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Ferrin Franklin and Phyllis Morley Olson. Graduate of North Sanpete High School. Member of the LDS Church. Married Charles W. Michael, June 3, 1950, who died February 21, 1985. Employed by the Federal Government, retired after 33 years with the Navy Department and Veterans Administration Hospital. Volunteer docent at Governor’s Mansion for 13 years. Lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. Member of the Federal Women’s Club since 1959. Former member of Salt Lake Council of Women. Enjoyed painting, handwork of all kinds, and golfing. Survived by Nephew, Michael F. Olson; Niece, Terrie O. Buck; Sister-in-Law, Helen A. Olson, and many grand Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by Parents; Husband; Sister Marcelle O. Simpson; Brother Frank M. Olson.
