Felice, short for Felicita was born to Tonya Astorga and Isidore Montano in Salt Lake City. Felice grew up in Salt Lake. She has left behind her mother; step-father, Johnny; brother, Jared; children, Octavia, Nico, Salicia, Junior and her beautiful granddaughter, Isella “Roo-Roo” who she said was her sunshine. Felice has now joined her father, uncle and grandmother in heaven. She was a caring and outgoing person with a heart of gold. She always put her loved one first and had dreams bigger than mountains. Felice was very smart, fun and one-of-a-kind. Her favorite things to do were going fishing, jet skiing, camping, cooking and going to Wendover. She had many health problems, but that did not hold her back from living life to the fullest. She got through life like a soldier. Felice smiled and held her head high no matter what. She has left us heartbroken but also left her strength behind for us.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 6th, 1:00 p.m. at the Guadalupe Church, 715 W. 300 N. Salt Lake, with a viewing prior starting at 11:30 am. On-line condolences may be left at www.redwoodmortuary.com.
