Fay O’Brien

Fay Jensen O’Brien returned home to her Heavenly Father on November 22, 2018. She was born into a loving family on February 12, 1930 in Salina, Utah to Charles Lester Jensen and Eda Christina Peterson. She was the third daughter of seven siblings.
After graduating Sevier High School, Mom moved to Salt Lake City where she began working at Kress Department Store. Mom was set up on a blind date with a handsome young man named Jim O’Brien. They dated for three months and were married August 30, 1950. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on January 15, 1957. Mom and Dad were blessed with five daughters; Jackie (Darwin) Powell, Connie and Bob Jensen, Jaymi (Glenn) Webb, Marianne and Bobby Wheaton, and Nicole (Brendan) Seal. Mom’s 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren brought such happiness into her life.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Holladay 10th Ward (4601 South Chapel Drive, Holladay, Utah), with a viewing one-hour prior. A viewing will also be held Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary (3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah).
