Fa’Aletupu Taesali Mulitalo

September 20, 1938 — May 9, 2017

Fa’aletupu Taesali Mulitalo born of Sofa Lutu Taesali Afoafouvale and Ulutaumamao Auau in Utulei, American Samoa September 20, 1938.  She’s survived by her children, son Moliki P. Mulitalo Jr.(Jewell) , son Tafaoga Mulitalo, daughter Ulu Masaniai (Frank), Son San Francisco Mulitalo, niece whom she raised Lisa Lealao (Rob) Daughter Noue Havea (Rogeh) and Son Edwin Mulitalo (Laura). She have also survived by 29 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and her brother Sofa (Kofe) Pula. 
 Fa’aletupu passed away May 9th 2017 in Herriman surrounded and embraced with love by her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was treated for bladder cancer in 2011. However, that very same cancer returned and aggressively spread throughout her body taking her last breath Tuesday afternoon at 3:39pm.
 Fa’aletupu married Moliki P. Mulitalo August 3, 1959 and sealed two years later in the Laie Temple. She longed to reunite with her one and only love, her sweetheart Moliki P. Mulitalo visiting his grave site as much as her health allowed it. Even in the cold, she would ask her son to drive by the site so she can wave to her sweetheart.  
 Fa’aletupu, a loving mother, not just to her own children but to so many she opened her home too: her nieces, her nephews, her brothers, her sisters, and strangers that became family.  In her home, there was always room.
 Fa’aletupu, a hard working mother of many occupations.  She worked as a waitress, factory worker, made artificial Christmas trees, ran her own driving business, shuttle driver and her very favorite job she retired from as an LDS Temple Worker.  She loved her job simple because she either started her day in the temple or ended her day in the temple.
 Fa’aletupu, a woman of Faith in Christ.  She loved reading any books that had to do with drawing her closer to Our Father in Heaven and her Savior Jesus Christ.  Although dementia slowly overcame her clear thinking, her daily priority written on various pieces of memos and post-its consistently to pray and read her scriptures.
