F. Charles Alvey

F. Charles Alvey, age 75, died on 7.5.2018 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born on 1.23.1943 in Salt Lake City, UT to Melvin and LaVern Alvey. He married Carol Thompson Alvey on 8.18.1962. He was a highly skilled home builder and woodworker who built 1000’s of custom homes over his career. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, drag racing, and watching BMX racing. He was a hard worker who loved to spend time with his family.  His smile was contagious,  and he was loved and respected by all those he knew.
He is survived by his wife Carol, sons Justin and John, sisters Margaret (LaMar), Judy, Ellen, Carolyn, Alona (Tom), brothers Kenneth, Darrold (Linda), and grandchildren Nicholas (Kylee), Ethan, Brighton, Autumn, Kyler (Kassy), Trystyn, and Kamryn, and great grandchildren Aedin and Jameson.
He is preceded in death by his father Melvin, mother Lavern, and brother Melvin.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 11:00 am with a viewing 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Mueller Park 9th Wardhouse (1800 E Mueller Park Rd, Bountiful, UT).  A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 10th from 6 pm to 8 pm at the same location.  Interment will be at Memorial Lake View Cemetery, 1640 E Lakeview Dr, Bountiful, UT.
