Evelyn Shill

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Evelyn R. Barber Cork Shill, also known as Corky and MeMe, passed away on February 10th, 2021. She was born on June 23rd, 1942 in El Monte, California to Delta Ruth Deboard and Roland Everett Barber. She married John Martin Shill on November 4th, 1983.
Evelyn is survived by her husband; Marty, her children; Ronda Lalli, Peggy Sue McHenry (Jeffrey Sr.), Herbert Cork III  (Renee), Leslie Johnson (Garret), Joclyn Shill, her 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Roland and Delta Barber, daughter; Lisa Ann Cork, and sister; Lilian Barber.
She retired from the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, where she enjoyed working. She had an undying love for shopping. Most of all she was extremely proud of her family and the things they accomplished.  She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
Services for Evelyn will be held Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Murray Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT. A viewing will be held two hours prior from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow at the Elysian Burial Gardens located at 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, UT.
