Evelyn B. Arnold

Evelyn passed away May 2, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 93.  She was born September 19, 1928, in Ferron, Utah to Frank and Annie Blackburn.  She married Bill Arnold on June 15, 1956. Evelyn was a cosmetologist. Later, when Joy and Aimee started school, she worked as a school aid and loved being around the children.
Evelyn loved animals especially cats.  Her dad paid a nickel for her first cat.  After that she had cats her entire life.
She was a loving mother and is survived by her children Reid William (Bill) Bailey, Lorraine (Jerry) Moreland, and Joy Sorenson; daughter-in-law Margaret Bailey; her grandchildren Kevin (Desiree) Bailey, Stephanie and Michael Bailey, William and Austin Sorenson;  her great grandchildren, Stephen and Jessica Bailey, Jackson Barlocker; and her great great-granddaughter Harmony.   She is also survived by two sisters, Helen Houskeeper, Betty Rich, and many nieces and nephews.   Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Arnold, son, John Wayne Bailey, infant daughter Carolyn Bailey; granddaughter Aimee (Mark) Wilson.  She was also predeceased by her brother Elbert (Bertha) Blackburn.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Ferron City Cemetery in Ferron, Utah.
