Jay passed away peacefully on February 8, 2016 at his home. He was born September 10, 1940 to Dewey and LaVerna Young Roberts in Duchesne, Utah. He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Jeannie (Chuck) Dickinson, Beckie (Brian) Cannon, Debbie (Tom) Sawyer, Eddy (Abby) Roberts; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; sisters, Faye VanSickle, Fern Kinservik, and Karol McNeill; brother Leon Casper. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Max, and his favorite dog Seven.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Fruitland Cemetery in Fruitland, Utah.
