Eva S Neu

March 31, 1929 — February 6, 2018

During Eva’s life, she enjoyed a variety of activities. For several years she taught ceramics, managing the studio and running the kilns. She loved to collect Beanie Babies. After Richard retired, they enjoyed traveling and camping in their 5th wheel trailer.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, including giving her grandchildren, grandniece and grandnephew advice on life.
At church she really came on strong as she served in her two favorite areas, in the kitchen when hosting events, and in the children’s nursery.
And this brings us to her real passion; CHILDREN. Eva loved children, hers, yours, those people over there, O and over there too, and don’t forget those over there and there. Well, I think you get the point. Starting in 1973, she and Richard took in many foster children, from troubled teens down to children. In their later years, they worked with The Christmas Box House where they provided short term care for children removed from troubled homes.
Services will be held at Memorial Redwood located at 6500 S. Redwood Road on Saturday February 10, 2018. Viewing at 1:00pm, memorial service at 2:00 pm.
Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
