She married Jacob (Jake) Pando, from Cleveland, New Mexico, on January 31, 1944, in the San Isidro Church, in Holman, New Mexico.
Jake and Lala’s firstborn son, Jake Jr., was born in November of 1944, Chacón, New Mexico, while Jacob was serving in the U.S. Army in Europe with the 35th Infantry Division, Company L, Regiment 320.
After he was discharged in February, 1946, Jake and Lala moved to Bingham Canyon, where Jacob returned to work at the Utah Copper Mine, later known as Kennecott, where he had first been hired in 1942. During her 95 years of life, Eulalia was always 100% dedicated to her family, especially to her beloved husband, Jacob, to her daughter, Josie; to her four sons Jake Jr., Floyd, Gerald, and Kenneth; and to all her grandchildren and extended family.
She loved reading, cooking for the family, camping, boating, fishing and hunting trips, traveling, church activities, going to dances, gardening, tending to her flowers, yet most of all, talking and visiting with her beloved family and dear friends.
Eulalia loved working as a bilingual/bicultural instructional aide in Jordan School District classrooms, she enjoyed her work as an Avon Lady, and she volunteered as an election worker for many years in West Jordan; yet mainly, she was dedicated to taking care of her family and home. She was always forgiving and full of love for all.
