Our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend passed away January 13, 2014. Gene was born April 15, 1929 to Merlin and Effie Fisher. He graduated from West High in 1947, where he was an All-State Football player. He married his high school sweetheart, later sealed in the LDS Temple. He is survived by his brothers, Jim and Walt Fisher; sons, Wesley, Scott, Daron, Kevin and Richard; daughters, Vicky, Shery, Deena, Annie and Betty; numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Norma C. Fisher; eldest son, Randy; his 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 18th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. with a viewing from 9 – 11 a.m. prior to services in the mortuary.
