Eugene Duncan

Eugene Duncan passed away at his Millcreek home on October 15, 2018.
Gene was an active golfer starting in his teens and playing into his later 80’s. He was a big Utah Jazz fan and watched whenever possible and also enjoyed watching old westerns. In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and deer and pheasant hunting. He was a Cub Scout leader and he bowled on a league many years and won multiple trophies.
Gene served four years in the Air Force as an air policeman. After that, he worked primarily as a welder and welding supervisor but retired early and worked his own small business as well as spending much time managing investments.
Gene is survived by Lois Duncan, his wife of nearly 67 years, sons Craig Duncan and Steven Duncan and daughters Gayle Stout and Linda Wagner, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, his brother Clarence “Don” Duncan and sister Deloris Christensen.
A viewing will be held Tuesday October 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, another viewing Wednesday October 24 at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm. The viewings and service will be held at Memorial Mountain View, 3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights
