Eugene M. Christensen, age 86, passed away on March 17, 2015. He was born on July 18, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Merton Christensen and Effie Candland. He married Jenni Rinck on March 28, 1956 in Darmstadt, Germany.
Eugene enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his garden, and was an amateur radio enthusiast.
He is survived by daughter, Effi C. (Bruce) Leonard; granddaughter, Kathryn Fargam; grandson, Michael D. Leonard; sister-in-law, Gretel Rebmann, Munich, Germany; and brother, Lamont Christensen.
He was preceded in death by wife, Jenni E. Christensen (1/27/08) and son, Jens M. Christensen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21st at 2:15 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street. A visitation for family will be on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 9th East. In lieu of flowers please send donation to the American Legion. Please reference Eugene Christensen’s name on your donation.
