Ethel Olive (Beesley) Luthy

Ethel Olive (Beesley) Luthy was born to Robert Heber and Hazel Olive (Beus) Beesley on 10 April 1926 at Clinton, Utah. She was born at home.
She married William Price Luthy in 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was sealed in the Logan temple in 1960. They are the parents of 2 children – William Craig Luthy (Felecia Kay Lewis) and Cheryl Cramer (Ronald). She has 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Heber Beesley Jr., and mother, Hazel Olive Beus, and siblings Robert Lewis Heber Beesley (Eunice), Ezra Vern Beesley (Fawn), Rex Heber Beesley (Teresa), Minnie Rose Brandvold (Duane Ordean), Donna Jean Brown (Dale Russell).
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions: Young Women, Primary and Music Director. She especially enjoyed directing the Sunday School Music and Ward Choir.
From 1948 to 1982 she resided with her husband in Downey, California where he practiced dentistry. Upon his retirement they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. They lived there until Bill’s passing in 2008 (he was age 88). After some time in Utah, she moved to Irvine, California, to live with her daughter and son-in-law, where she lived until her passing on 8 November 2018.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Little Cottonwood 5th Ward, 6350 South Rodeo Lane, SLC, Utah with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah.
