Esther Nethersole Camp

November 2, 1937 — April 2, 2021

Such a beautiful and mighty spirit left this world on Friday April 2, 2021.
Esther Nethersole Camp, known most of her life as Mamita, lived life with zest, courage and bravery that few can match. She loved with her whole heart and gave freely to those who were in need of tender care.
Esther was born in Colon, Panama to Harold Earl Nethersole and Elena Guadamuz on November 2, 1937. There she spent her young life until being swept off her feet by her soon to be husband Loren C. Camp. They were married on September 25, 1956. They began their newly married life in Columbus, Ohio and were blessed with 5 children. They later joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she remained strong and faithful throughout her life.
After divorcing she picked up and started a new life in Salt Lake City, Utah where she was able to be with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
To her family she leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter at her crazy antics and memories filled with warmth and sweetness. Never did she forget a birthday. One could always count on her showing up with a whole cake, flowers and money for their special day. Her happiness was being with her family. Love was her “love” language. Always loyal and blind to the faults of those that she loved. Always beautiful and loving the beauty around her. She has blessed and has been blessed.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughter Mary and second husband Larry V. Tooley.
She is survived by her children: Harold Camp (Carol), Lorena Camp, Denise Camp Lopez (Robert), Eric Camp (Nancy). She reluctantly leaves behind her adoring grandchildren: Elisha Gaviglio, Roberta Camp Albert, Lesli Lopez Campbell, Brandon Lopez, Britain Lopez, Braedon Lopez, Nikki Kenney, Brian Kenney, Landon Favero. Great-Grandchildren: Dominic Gaviglio, Claire and Eli Albert, Scarlette and Ellie Campbell, Evie, Alta and Theodora Lopez, Sophia Sanders.
Like she always said jokingly “I’ve got one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peel.” … and now she’s made her exit.
