Ernestina Duran

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on 12/31/17. She has gone to heaven and is free from pain and suffering, resting in complete joy,happiness and freedom with God and loved ones. Born on 11/20/28 to Ruben& Beatrice Madrid Martinez. Married Fermin Duran on 4/17/50. Survived by Jesse, Della (Jack) Matthews, Yolanda(Jose) Martinez, Ernie (Cathy), Ruby (Justin) Tidwell, Mary (David) Henry, Joey, various grandchildren, great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Gloria Martinez. Preceded in death by parents, brothers; Luciano (Esmeralda), Andres (Maria), Manual T.(Demetria) & Leo Martinez. Caring for family was extremely important,calling or talking to them each day. Loved making zucchini bread for family & friends never leaving one unused.
The family would like to express their gratitude to First Choice Health Care and Frances for their compassion in caring for mom.
The viewing will be held at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S Redwood Road on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM with the Holy Rosary to follow. Mass to be held on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at St.Joseph the Worker, 7405 S Redwood Road at 11:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow at Memorial Redwood Estates.
