Ernest (Ernie) Clinton Morris (36) passed away August 27th 2020 in Taylorsville Utah. Ernie was born January 22, 1984 to Jimmy J and Susan Morris in Murray, Utah.
Ernie graduated from Hunter High school in West Valley, Utah. He had a lot of great friends throughout the years. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys with his brother Patrick and fishing with his dad and brother James. He loved watching the UTES, the Utah Jazz and the Boston Red Socks. Ernie was always down to play some family bingo and always ready to watch Braveheart and Gladiator. He loved hanging out with his dad, and always made sure his mom was taken care of. They were his best friends. But his biggest accomplishment in his life was the birth of his son Ryker, who he loved so dearly,” Love you son!” He also loved his nieces and nephews so very much. He was a guy with a big heart, a great smile and an infectious laugh. He always lit up the room and was always ready to tell a great joke. He always made sure his sister was his biggest fan, and he was her protector. -Forever 22 Q!
He is survived by his son Ryker Patrick Steinman (Morris), parents Jimmy J and Susan Morris, Brother James B.(Jauslyne) Morris, Patrick H (Jessica) Morris and sister Crystal Rose (Scott) Shank, Nieces; Acia Lynn (Tyler) Cox, Lyndsee (Matt) Nixon, and Aspen Morris. Nephews; James J (Taylor) Morris, Jayden Shank and Braxden Shank. Great Nieces Lyla and Hazel Cox, Great Nephew baby James. Grandmother Ercie, Aunt Darlene (Wayne) McNeese, Uncles Lester Morris, Steve, Tony and Gary Vigil, and many cousins whom loved him dearly, and he loved them all.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, James and Myrtle Morris, and Papa Sam. His Aunts Myrtle Vigil and Jan Morris and Uncle Marc Vigil.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private family viewing will be held on September 2, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, 2020 at Lodestone Park; 6200 South 6252 West,West Valley City 84118 at The Pavilion from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm for all his friends and family.Service Information
