Erma Lee Prescott Cressall

Erma Lee Prescott Cressall, age 84, died on October 29 2018, in Sandy, Utah as a result of complications of Alzheimer’s and Cancer. She was born on June 4, 1934, in Sharon, Idaho to John Levi and Ida Lucille Wixom Prescott. Lee married Lyle K Cressall on July 12, 1954 in the Logan Temple.
Lee was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was involved in the leadership of Relief Society for many years. She served as Relief Society President and was a counselor to several presidents. She also served as Primary President, Primary Teacher and a Weblos Leader. Together with her husband Lyle she was a Temple Worker at the Jordan River Temple for over 25 years. She and Lyle also served a mission to the Sandy Bishops Storehouse.
Lee was very determined to be a stay at home mom to her five children and baked and decorated beautiful cakes for years to be able to do this. She also taught baton classes and had her own greenhouse. Lee loved flowers and a beautiful yard, which she and Lyle worked on together. After her children were grown she worked in the school lunch program for Jordan School District. She was a mother who championed her children and was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and rarely missed a game, dance review or piano recital.
She is survived by her loving husband Lyle, Catherine (Warren) Loveless, Debera (Buck) Sharples, Christopher (Cyndi) Cressall, Steven (Karen) Cressall, Karen (Troy) Oborn, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister Arlene Prescott Pyle.
Lee is preceded in death by her parents; her much loved Grandson, Sean Christopher Cressall; siblings: Jessie Lucille Prescott, Lee Lavon Prescott, Ivan Albert Prescott, Cyril Joseph Prescott, Marjean Prescott Freeman, and Lyman Ricks Prescott.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at the Sandy Utah Central Stake, Park Ward building at 1050 Galena Drive, Sandy, Utah at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be at Memorial Estates Mountain View Cemetery.Service Information
