Eric Jones

Our beloved son, father, brother and grandson, Eric, passed away on January 25, 2014. Born May 5, 1988 in Ogden, UT to Jeffrey and Maria Ontiveros Jones. The greatest joy in Eric’s life was his son, Jayden, whom he adored. Eric was an amazing, patient and caring father. Being a father brought out the best in Eric. He was energetic and fun and had such a beautiful smile. We will miss him dearly and his quirky sense of humor. Eric is survived by his son, Jayden; parents, Maria Jones and Jeffrey (Connie) Jones; brother, Shane (Jill); grandparents, Limhi & Veone Ontiveros, and Barton & Peggy Jones; Jayden’s mother, Cassandra Bergquist. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Oquirrh 4th Ward, 5208 West Cyclamen Way (6300 South), West Jordan, with a viewing one hour prior at the church. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
