Enid Helen Fuller Faust

March 7, 1930 — March 11, 2020

Enid Helen Fuller Faust, age 90, peacefully left this life on March 11, 2020 in Midvale, Utah. She was born on March 7, 1930 in Leeds, Utah to Helen Susannah Pope and Reed Fuller. She married Daniel Finlinson Faust on October 21, 1950.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, and sons George David and Keith. She is survived by her son Daniel (Chris) and daughter Susan (Bill) Ivie and her Brothers Conrad, Anthony, and Don Fuller, and her Sister Margaret. She also has 27 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
Enid lived a full life from the time she was a little girl in Leeds, Utah. Before she started school, she helped her family run a fruit stand in front of their property.  Her father grew peaches and watermelon and her parents would pick pine nuts in season to sell at the stand. She would have to stay close to the stand during the summer months and learned to count money before starting school. She was her mother’s right hand growing up – helping with chores, gardening, and home improvements, including wall papering and shingling. As a young girl, she was able to ride her father’s horses with friends as a break from daily labors.
Eventually, her family moved to the Salt Lake Valley Cottonwood area. While in High School, she met Daniel Faust. For her High School graduation, she accepted an engagement ring from Dan and then waited two years as he went on a mission to the Southern States. Upon his return, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with four children. Their youngest child, George David, became suddenly ill and died at 5 months old. Dan and Enid’s faith in God and Jesus Christ sustained and comforted them through this and other trials of their lives.
In addition to being a homemaker, Enid had other occupations in her life, including bookkeeper, motel manager, sales, and building businesses. Enid loved visiting gardens and places such as Hawaii to admire the beautiful plants and flowers.
Enid’s beloved husband, Dan, passed away eight and a half years ago. Enid has been looking forward to a joyful reunion with Dan and her other family members who have passed on before.
