Emmy Amanda Suyoto

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Emmy Amanda Suyoto, passed away on July 16, 2021 in Kearns, Utah, at the age of 92. She was born on November 26, 1928 in Salatiga, Indonesia to Ludwig Amadeus Sindt and Karsini Singolodro. She was married to her loving husband, Steven I. Suyoto, on August 8, 1955.
Emmy loved to take road trips, she enjoyed cooking and playing with her great-grandchildren. She lived through World War II and she enthralled us with many, many stories of what life was like for her during those trying times.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two of her sons.
She is survived by nine of her children, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held for her on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah. Interment will follow immediately at the same location.
