Ema Lavaka Heimuli, 84, passed away on December 26th, 2022 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on September 28, 1938 in Neiafu Vava’u, Tonga to Moses Taukimoana and Amele Hopoi of Talu Neiafu, Tonga. She was married to Tevita ‘Uanga Heimuli.
Ema was a school teacher, an industrial manufacturing lead, a homemaker, and an astounding member of the Baha’i faith.
She is survived by her sons, Sione Heimuli, Sofeni Heimuli, Misaeli Heimuli, Viliami Heimuli, Filisi Heimuli and her only daughter, Ana Lavulo. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a huge extended family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tevita ‘Uanga Heimuli and a son, Kalauti Atanisi Hemuli.
A funeral service will be held from 8am-12pm on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary located at 10055 South State Street in Sandy, Utah 84070.
Interment will be directly after the funeral service at Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 S. Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah, 84123Service Information
