Elvie was born June 1, 1929 in Jacobstod, Finland. She passed peacefully on July 27, 2023 in Spring City, Utah with family at her side.
Elvie was a true Scandinavian and loved her heritage. She was especially proud when she donated her family Traditional Folk Dress (Sverigendraken) and it was displayed at the National Nordic Museum in Seattle, Washington.
A big part of Elvie’s life involved membership in Masonic organizations including L.O.S of which she was Past Grand High Priestess and O.E.S., Past Worthy Matron Adah Chapter 16.
Elvie is preceded in death by her husband Richard L. Isackson, parents, Otto and Vera Johnson, brother, AB Johnson, sister, Marlene Boulden, and grandson, Brian Hanks.
She is survived by her son, Douglas L. Isackson, daughter, Dr. Dee Isackson, 6 grandsons, and 23 great-grandchildren.
