Elsie May Banks

Elsie May Banks, aged 85, died on December 15, 2017 in West Valley City, UT. She was born on July 23, 1932, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harley and Lillian Boone. She married James William Banks, Jr. (deceased).
Mom raised five children and she loved her roses. She often gave her roses to people who couldn’t afford to buy them for their family needs. From humble beginnings, she gave her children all they needed to succeed in life. When mom made up her mind to do something, she just did it! When we needed her, she was there to support us.
Survived by Larry (Deana) Banks, Judy (Hank) Bertoch, Jamie (Rick) Kenner, Cindy (Craig) Grant, and Karl (Leasa) Banks. She has twenty two grandchildren, and fifty seven great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
Preceded in death by James William Banks, Jr (husband), her parents and brothers and sisters.
Friends and family are invited to a Viewing on Tuesday, December 19th from 6 P.M. to 8:00 P.m.
Funeral Services and Interment will be held at 11 A.M. on December 20th at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South, and Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
