Elma Martha Cox Broadhead

February 18, 1927 — November 30, 2016

Elma Martha Cox Broadhead passed away November 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Myton, Utah on February 18, 1927 to Ellsworth Willard Cox and Arloia Jones Cox. She was the first born of ten children.
Elma truly lived for her family. They were her whole world and she cherished them with every piece of her heart. She set the standard for how to love unconditionally, live genuinely, and selflessly do for others. Her hobbies included: camping, gardening, or any other activity that involved being with her family. Her family was her true joy in life, and she never missed an opportunity to tell them how special they were to her, and how much she loved them. She will be truly missed by all those whose heart she touched.
Elma is survived by her children: Gary (Donna) Broadhead, Michael (Barbara) Broadhead, and Susan (Michael) Martinez, 13 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Loren Broadhead, son Arvis Broadhead, and daughter Charlene Smock, her parents, three brothers, two sisters, her mother and father-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law.
A special thank you to all the healthcare workers, friends, and family that loved and cared for her in so many ways throughout her life.
Funeral services for Elma will be held at 11:00 am Monday December 5, 2016 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary 6500 South Redwood Rd West Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may come for a viewing on Sunday December 4, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Memorial Redwood and also one hour prior to the services for Elma. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery. www.memorialutah.com
