Ella Wauneta Rose

Ella Wauneta Rose, age 97, died on January 14, 2018 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on December 18, 1920, in Hardington, Nebraska to Otto Dewey and Hazel Provancha. She married Calvin Coolidge Rose on July 18, 1941. They were blessed with four children.
Wauneta enjoyed making pot holders, crocheting, painting ceramics, jigsaw puzzles, music and playing the organ. She really loved people, especially her family. She was a committed Christian and a faithful member of Salt Lake Christian Center. She faithfully read and meditated on the Scriptures and spent time in prayer. She loved her Pastors and church family.
She is survived by her children: Larry (Rosealind) Rose, Bob (Lynne) Rose and Tammie Brant; son-in-law, Ray Zimmerman; 8 grandchildren: Joe, Lisa, Erik, Renee, Faith, Joel, Zachary and Benjamin; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Wauneta was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; her four siblings; daughter, Carolyn Zimmerman; and son-in-law, David Brant.
Funeral services will be held on at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Salt Lake Christian Center, 4300 South 700 East. A viewing will be held at the same location from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Interment will follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah. Condolences may be left at www.MemorialUtah.com.
