Elizabeth Neeley

March 29, 1927 — December 1, 2013

Elizabeth Anna Fassmann Neeley was born in Milwaukee WI on March 29th 1927. She was married to Marvin P. Neeley in the Salt Lake City Temple on February 14th, 1946. She was great cook and care giver to many, among them were President David O. McKay, Governor J. Bracken Lee and many more. She enjoyed playing piano, writing poetry, cross stitching and a good game of Scrabble/Upwords and Chinese Checkers. Survived by: Husband Marvin P. Neeley, Daughter Marianne and (David) Cartwright, Grand children Heather Arcolio and Justin Nice, Great grandchildren Kyler and Ryken Arcolio, and Sister Eleanor Hoagland. Preceded in death by: Parents Willy and Anna Fassmann, Brother Billy Fassmann, and Son John M. Neeley. Elizabeth succumbed to a short battle with metastatic cancer. She passed peacefully with her family in her daughter’s home on December 1st, 2013. She had a loving, caring disposition and was a great servant of the Lord.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Saturday Dec. 7th, 2013 at the Orchard 4th Ward, 55 E. 350 N, North Salt Lake (off Hwy 89)
Viewings will be 6-8 pm Friday Dec. 6th at Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 700 S. S.LC, Utah and at the Ward, 10-10:45 prior to Saturdays services.
Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
