Elizabeth Jane Johnson (Betty)

Elizabeth Jane Valencia Johnson, better known as "Betty" age 85 passed over on October 31, 2024, at home peacefully with her family. She was born November 27, 1938, in Blanco New Mexico to Joe and Della Valencia. 

She married Marlin Johnson and April 26, 1957. Ms. Betty liked gambling and golf. Her greatest accomplishment was watching over her grandchildren and great grandchildren. "Mom was a very simple person" and it gave her great joy to do for others. She enjoyed being a "stay at home mom and loved cleaning, dusting, cooking breakfast was her favorite. Coffee in the morning was another great joy of Bettys.

She is Survived by her son Guy Johnson and Daughter Della Millring, sister Jennie (Abel) Garcia, Dustin, Nick (Kelsi) Mitchell (Cassie), Taylor (Dustin), Alix (Andrew) and her Seven great grandchildren and grandchildren.

She is Preceded in death by her husband Marlin Johnson, her son Dwayne Johnson, grandson Christian Johnson, Parents Joe Valencia and Della Segura, Sisters Eva Sheean and Helen Espinosa.

Funeral Services will be held on November 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM with a viewing held an hour prior at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. The Graveside will be at 12:00 PM.
