Elizabeth K. Cho, age 68, passed away and returned to her Heavenly Father during the early morning hours of October 27, 2024, with her husband and son beside her.
She was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1980 where she met her husband, Kurn and eventually gave birth to her son, William.
She was very diligent and worked while studying to become a registered nurse. She went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Utah and worked as a nurse practitioner for several years. Eventually, she returned to her passion, working as an RN and taking care of patients on the MICU at the University of Utah Hospital.
She had a tremendous work ethic and was always on the go! She was known as a kind and compassionate woman.
She loved to travel, take Zumba classes and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband-Kurn Cho, son-William Cho (Afton), grandson-Kai, grandson-James, granddaughter-Mara, granddaughter-Julia, sister-Kyung Soon Lee (Jung Moon Kim), brother-William Lee (Guimin), sister-Kyong Ahe Lee (Yang Ki Hong), brother-Benjamin Hong (Hyonju) and brother-Thomas Hong (Jee Wan).
She is preceded in death by her father-Tae Sun Lee, mother-Young Sook Lee and mother-in-law-Kyong Hui Min.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary in Cottonwood Heights, UT on Saturday, November 2nd. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30-10:30 am, followed by a private funeral ceremony.
