Elizabeth Booth

April 3, 1921 — May 13, 2014

Our beloved mother, grandma, and “Nanny” passed away May 13, 2014 at home surrounded by family. She was born April 3, 1921 in England to Harold and Margaret Harrison. She married Ernest Booth on July 13, 1939; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Elsie was an accomplished artist, loved reading and music. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Everyone who knew Elsie will remember her for her generosity, compassion, and love that she gave so freely.
Survived by her children, Joyce (Fred) Garrett and Bryan (Laney) Booth; 3 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and many extended family. She will be especially missed by her great-grandchildren, Savannah Booth Hampton and Curtis Booth, who she raised as her own children. Preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters and 2 brothers and granddaughter, Lisa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17th, 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan 6th Ward, 3650 W. 4400 So. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. and one hour prior to services at the church.
