In the early morning of January 30th, with her loving son Joe Fermin at her bedside, Eliza Ramoncita, mother of Gilbert,[Bobbi] Fermin, [Julia] Julian [Karin], Josie, Johnny,[Victoria] Linda,[Norman] Rosie,[Ross] Richard [Elizabeth], and Freddy [Ladonna]left this mortal life.
She will be reunited with her parents Casimiro and Josephina Valdez, her sibling: Joe Alcario, Casimiro Jr. Benito, Arabella, John Gilbert, Eujenio Polemon, and Maria Guadalupe, her sons who preceded her in death Eduardo Lopez, Gilbert Edward, Richard [Ricky] and Freddy, sisters-in-law Ignacita Valdez, Ingaborg Valdez, son-in-law Chadwick Lindsey, son-in-law Norman Unck, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Valdez.
Ramoncita was born April 1, 1924, in the small farming town of Juanita, Colorado.
Mom was an accomplished bowler winning several trophies. She loved to travel and visited several South American countries. She was a caregiver to several veterans during her 14 years as a nurse and supervisor. She enjoyed playing blackjack for many years. She loved to dance and loved Mexican music. Ramoncita was also an accomplished crocheter and embroider.
She leaves a legacy of 47 grandchildren, 129 great grandchildren and 58 great great grandchildren.
