Elisabeth Astin graduated this life on Dec. 29, 2013. She was born Sept. 20, 1931 to Eugene Alvin and Rosa Heiniger Schilling. Married to David D. Astin, Jr. on Dec. 30, 1952. She was mother to Helen Rose (Ron) Munns, Linda Marie (Lee) Wade, and Shirley Jean (Tim) Riley.
Survived by husband, two daughters (Linda & Shirley) and one son in law (Ron) and his
current wife, Marie.
Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Helen; grandson ,Matthew Wade; Great grandson, Benjamin Stagg.
Funeral will be Saturday Jan. 4, 2104 at the Brighton 1st Ward chapel, 2925 Bengal Blvd. at 12:00 pm. Viewings will be held Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday 10:45 to 11:45 am, both at the church.
