Elifas Fresquez Age 89 passed away peacefully on April 1, 2022 at his home in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on June 12, 1932 in Chamisal, New Mexico to David Fresques and Eloyda Lopez. He had many hobbies and enjoyed many past times, some of which were gardening, fishing, hunting and watching boxing, but his favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends. He loved playing, laughing and talking with his children, grandchildren and looking after his great-grandchildren. Elifas served in the Army and was deployed to serve in the Korean War. After his military service he moved to Utah where he began his 30 year career for The Kennecott Copper Mine. It was also in Utah where he met the love of his life Beatrice. They married on August 27, 1956 and enjoyed 64 wonderful years together with 5 children and from there they watched their family grow with 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Elifas is survived in Death by his children, Dinah (Tom), Vicky (Mark) and Rick and his daughter-in-law Lori, his siblings Esther Ortega, Sadie Davis, Marietta Barton, Rosalyn Eichwald (Aaron), Bill (Dolores), Roy (Margie) and Ramona.
Preceded in Death by his wife Beatrice, his sons Ernie and Rodney aka Ranch, his granddaughter Brandy and his siblings, Joe, Rueben, David and Benito.
Services will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT. 84123Service Information
