Eliane Jaqueline Remels Pennington, age 68, passed away on August 22, 2015 in Kearns, Utah. She was born on February 25, 1947 in Charleroi, Belgium to Benoit Louis Remels and Leonie Beauvois Remels. She married Ed Pennington and they were later divorced.
Eliane enjoyed cooking, cleaning her house, and had a green thumb that could nurse any plant back to life. She grew up in Sugarhouse, Utah and attended Highland High School.
She is survived by her sons Eddie (Diana) Pennington of West Valley, Donnie (Kathy) Pennington of West Jordan, eight grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her dog Pooky.
Eliane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jack and Louis, and her best friend Wayne McKenna.
