Eli Martinez, age 77, passed away on July 24, 2020 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on February 19, 1943 in Embudo, New Mexico to Andres and Mary Martinez. He married his beautiful wife Jolyne Necaise. Eli had worked at Kennecott for over 40 years. He loved to go fishing, tend his garden, and enjoyed a Diet Pepsi.
He is survived by his son Rodney Martinez, brother Norbert, Rube (Barbara), George (Cherri), Antonio, Joseph (Maxine), Albert, Ben (Carolyn), Dick (Gloria), sister Bea Martinez (Joe Schmidtke), and six grand children
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jolyne Martinez, son Darren, daughter Jami, brothers, Albertito, and John James Martinez.
