Eleanor Louise Hall Sanders

Eleanor Louise Hall Sanders passed away on June 1st in the arms of her granddaughter, Melissa Louise Sanders, due to complications from a stroke, heart disease, and other ailments.
The memorial service followed by the burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Memorial Mountain View: 3115 Bengal Blvd (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights, UT. A viewing will precede the service at 10:00 am. Another viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, June 8th at Memorial Mountain View.
Eleanor, or “Nor,” or “Ellie,” as she was known to her loved ones, was born in Orson, Iowa on April 4th, 1926. She was one of 13 children, and grew up on a farm in Pisgah, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold Stanley Sanders. Together they founded and ran a very successful trophy and awards business, Priced-Rite Trophy, for many decades. Eleanor loved cooking, gardening, and her family and friends very much; she doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth Sanders and Doug Sanders (Terry); her 3 grandchildren, Michael (Chryssa), Melissa (Nilauro), and Eric (Erin); her 2 great-grandchildren, Flynn and Lyra; and her sister and brother, Harriet “Hattie” Jones and Robert “Bob” Hall.
Eleanor loved flowers, and the family welcomes arrangements sent to Memorial Mountain View Mortuary (801) 943-0831.
