On June 5, 2020, at age 82, Elden Alve Steadman passed away at his home with his loving wife and daughters by his side.
Elden met Connie, the love of his life, while they were still in high school. On August 14, 1958, they married and on their 5th anniversary were sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
Elden was blessed with three daughters – Pamela (Scott) Hansen, Shelly (Keith) Rozema, and Lisa (Brad) Stevens, four grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, the joy of his life. He loved his family more than life itself.
Elden was a jack of all trades and was talented in so many ways. He kept his yard at home beautiful, also the mountain lot which he built from scratch making it very beautiful and leaving his legacy to his daughters.
He spent eight years in the National Guard with the 625 Military Police out of Fort Douglas, Utah. He retired for the Tooele Army Depot after 35 years at the age of 52. He then worked another 10 years for Construction Realty.
Elden had several church callings and was known by two nicknames – Stud and Big Daddy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Pam, parents Grace and Alve; and four sisters – Mary, Norma, Carol, and Vickie.
