Elaine Stilson Williams

Elaine Stilson Williams (age 69) passed away November 8, 2016 from complications arising from pneumonia. She was the only daughter of five children born to Fred and Loa Stilson. Born in Price, UT she grew up in Orangeville, UT and came to Salt Lake City around the age of 20. She met and married Elwin Clair Williams, who preceded her in death in July of this year.  Elaine, also known as Lynn, was a devoted wife and mother to her children and stepchildren (DeeAnn Hutchins (Damon), Mark Williams (Kandra), Kerry Grossaint (Ron), Craig Williams (Sandra), Cyndy Archuletta, and Kelly Williams (deceased)). Family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren (Amber Archuletta (Armando), Bryan Archuletta (deceased), Nick Grossaint (Jessamyn), Sara Grossaint, Megan Williams, Damonte Hutchins, and Daija Hutchins).  Family events and spending time with her grandchildren gave her a lot of pleasure and joy. Making sure to attend programs, sports events, and anything else featuring her grandkids was a great happiness for her. She was a skilled seamstress and she also enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans, which she donated to charitable organizations. She loved scrapbooking and taking family photographs as well as multiple other arts and crafts. She also loved taking trips to Wendover and going to concerts there. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. At Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT), there will be a viewing held Thursday, November 10th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and services will be held Friday, November 11th at 11:00am with a viewing one hour prior. After the services, a luncheon will be held at the home of Damon and DeeAnn Hutchins, 1458 W. Neville Ct., West Valley City for close friends and family.
