Our dad had quite the life. He graduated from South High School and served in the Air Force from 1954-1957. He worked for the Union Pacific Rairoad to support his family and provide opportunities for his children. Our dad always enjoyed the time we spent fishing, camping, boating, and eating Betty’s Mexican Food. He cherished the time we spent watching the stock car races.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Wyatt Devey, and his children Michael (Marsha), Robyn (Larry), Ronald (Rhonda), and Steve. He was also survived by his sisters, Sharon and Karen and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed Edwin Devey and Elsie Johanson Devey, and his siblings Betty, Bill, Joe, and Shirley.
He loved us all and we will miss the twinkle in his blue eyes and his warm smile as we know he is riding the rails and enjoying a cold Smirnoff.
Services will be held on Monday, February 13. The viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 followed by a graveside service at Memorial Estates on 6500 South Redwood Road. Condolences may be left by going to www.Memorialutah.comService Information
