Edward Allen Beers
(3-Pak)
August 25, 1946~February 21, 2014
Allen Beers was born in Tooele, UT to John Alfred Beers and Barbara Jean Kenworthy. He lived his life as a young adult throughout the Western states and enjoyed many outdoor activities, but his favorites were always fishing and hunting. His passions were many, but they could probably be narrowed down to spending time with his mother and his family. Going fishing and hunting, of course, traveling and working, and living life on his terms which those that knew him would agree. The rest was just stuff that filled up the days which didn’t concern Al much.
He did get to spend much of his life doing the very things he grew up enjoying with his dad and grandfather. He even got to go to Alaska just recently with the woman he loved for fourteen years and her children on a cruise to fulfill his dream to do some salmon fishing in Alaska.
He was a proud member of the I.B.E.W. local 354 for 44 years. Doing work around the country for many major companies and projects. He cared deeply for the work and for his members.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, John A. Beers; mother, Barbara J. Correll; grandparents Ralph P. and Mattie Kenworthy, Frank E. and Nora G. Beers. He is survived by soul-mate, Donna Rae Hogan; his children, son, David A. Beers (Ari); son, Michael J. Beers; and daughter, Barbara A. Deans; stepchildren, Tina Green (Jesse), Vicki Batie (Warren); grandchildren, Taylor Deans, Tiffny Bodily, Vanessa Beers, Aspen Batie, Zachary Deans, John Beers, Alex Kakunes, Jameson Batie, and two great grandchildren.
Al will be missed by many friends and family, and although he left us very suddenly and much too early in life, he was happy to be with family and no longer wanted to suffer as he did the last year he was with us. The family would love to hear your stories and comments and thank you for all of your kind words. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.deseretmortuary.com. Funeral Directors: Deseret Mortuary.
