Edward Ashton “Ted” Jones

On September 5, 2016 Edward Ashton “Ted” Jones passed away peacefully at home and returned to his Heavenly Father. He was reunited with his loving wife and son. Edward was born on March 11, 1933 to Alma and Marion Jones in Blanding, Utah. He married the love of his life; Ola May on September 7, 1954 in the Manti Temple. He had a love for genealogy. He held many positions in the church. Edward is survived by his daughter Janie (John) Zmuda, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, his two brothers and three sisters. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and son Ed. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, 11:00 AM with a two hour prior viewing at Wasatch Ward, 1750 South 1500 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
