E. Lois Walker-Stookey

September 3, 1937 — January 11, 2018

My Beautiful Mother, Lois passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 11, 2018 at her home in West Valley City, Utah. Lois was born on September 3, 1937 to Verda and Clifton J. Walker in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Weber High School and attended the University of Utah.
She loved the Arts, including music, sculpting, painting, and theatre. She loved Nature and the Outdoors. She loved animals, especially cats. She had many of them and fostered strays. She was very loving and caring with a wonderful sense of humor.  She was a friend to all. She cared deeply about those who were less fortunate and made sure that others needs were met before her own. She always tried to make people laugh and feel better. She lived life on her own terms without worrying about tomorrow.
She was a wonderful mother who gave everything to raising her son to the best of her ability. She will remain in the hearts of many.  She will be sorely missed and loved deeply.
She is survived by her only son and child, Cary B Stookey and her sister Constance (Lowell) Stockberger. She is preceeded in death by her mother and father Verda and Clifton J. Walker and her brother Clifton J. Walker Jr.

In Honor of her memory, donations to “Best Friends no kill Sanctuary” would be the greatest  way to show your love of Lois.
