E. LaDonne Isom, age 82, passed away on January 17, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on September 19, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clive and Ethel Orr Jensen. She married Robert Eugene Isom on May 29, 1990.
LaDonne enjoyed the simple things in life. Her favorites included painting, puzzles, the color purple, stuffed animals, bubble baths, Cap’n Crunch cereal, tight perms, and TV. She was a fan of soap operas, westerns, Green Bay Packers football, LDS General Conference, Elvis movies and anything from the 50’s and 60’s. Especially Big Band era music, Elvis songs, drive-in hamburgers, shakes and soda. Tooele, Utah was her home for many years and she valued the friendships she made while living there. She was feisty, strong-willed, brave, and devoted to her husband, Robert, who was the blue in her sky. Her unique way of viewing life helped her meet challenges and find joy in the comfort of things most familiar to her.
LaDonne is survived by her husband, sister, Debbie (Dean) Stewart and many nieces and nephews. She he preceded in death by her parents, brother LaMar Jensen, sister Norma (Arthur) Fullmer, and brother Don (Kay) Jensen.
May her soul soar free and find delight in the heavens.
