Douglas Howard

October 13, 1965 — April 17, 2018

Doug Allen Howard left us at the young age of 52 on April 17th,2018. He went peacefully at 6:30 PM during a beautiful sunset in the presence of his loved ones. Doug was born on October 13th,1965, in the old Cottonwood Hospital, to his loving parents, Robert Lee Howard and Sharon Hazel Watson Howard. Growing up with five rowdy brothers, Doug was the fourth child in a line of six. Steve, Clint, and Bradley were Doug’s older brothers, while David and Lance came a few years after his birth.

From a young age, Doug showed a keen interest in art. He actively drew and painted all throughout high school and eventually went on to pursue and complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Utah. Doug married twice in his life. His first marriage was to his high school sweet heart, Cyndie Eresuma. They two had their son, Jordan Howard, a few years after they were married. Doug shared the next chapter of his life with ShaDell Garrett, giving to two loving children, Rhonan Duke Howard and Talon Royce Howard. The love Doug had for his children, family and everyone around him was unparalleled. His genuine nature, quick wit and gentle heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Doug will be greatly missed.  However, we know he will be joining his father Robert, his older sister Trudylee and brother Clint.  They can all teach Trudylee our favorite card game, hand-and-foot, and save the rest of us a spot until we’re dealt in.
