Douglas (“Houston”) Kay Daley was born on January 7, 1948, in Provo Utah, to George Kenneth & Shirley (Hutchings) Daley.

Doug grew up in Utah& Montana, attending schools in Salt Lake City Utah and Bozeman, Montana where he graduated from Bozeman Senior School.

Doug met the love of his life Janet Kathleen Hehn in Bozeman. They married on September 28, 1968. They were blessed with 2 children Michelle (Shelly) and Shawn. They were blessed with 2 grandchildren Eddie and Corbin.

Doug attended Western Technical College in Denver Colorado, where he studied Auto Mechanics. He was the best mechanic, we all called him with mechanical problems. He was able to fix or repair anything.

He retired from Cate Equipment in February 2013, after 44 years of working at this same company. He started with Cate as a Lube mechanic, diesel mechanic. When he retired, he was the Shop Foreman, and Head of Rental Equipment.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, and the (Hehn) family. His son Shawn (Amber) Daley, his 2 grandchildren Eddie McCain & Corbin Daley. His 3 sisters, Susan (Gary) Knight, Linda (Glen) Warath, Cindy (Bob) Allred. His 1 brother Keith (Darla) Daley, numerous nieces and nephews.

He is Preceded in death by, his father George Kenneth Daley & His mother Shirley (Hutchings) Daley, his daughter Michelle (Shelly) (Daley) Carter.

Doug will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and loving him. He was an amazing brother, husband, father & human being. He was loving, forgiving and one of the most non-judgmental people many of us ever had the pleasure of knowing. He loved all his family and was not afraid to work hard for the things that he wanted in life. He provided his wife and children with a very

amazing life. Doug and his wife enjoyed traveling everywhere that they could. He was loved by so many, and will forever be missed, but never forgotten.
